CLIP is an acronym for Challenge Learning Inquiry Program. In 2024, the CLIP program was delivered to grades 5 and 6 students who demonstrated initiative in their learning.
The Design Thinking Process was used to deliver real world learning experiences through a scientific lens, outlined within the Victorian Curriculum.
Importantly, the CLIP program targets cross curricula capabilities (Critical & Creative Thinking, Ethical, Intercultural, Personal and Social Capabilities). Final projects consistently target opportunities to improve or find solutions to problems within our school.
Throughout the year, CLIP students explored Biomimicry, Animal Conservation and Sports Science. Projects were presented to a variety of audiences, including School Council meetings, Melbourne Zoo's Fighting Extinction Showcase Day, Science Victoria Magazine and school assemblies/newsletters.
